making a house a home

I've had the privilege of working with the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta for the past 10 years. It has been some of the most rewarding work of my career - and I really mean that because every pixel I've ever created for the non-profit has been pro bono. They do incredible work changing lives and improving the communities they serve and I'm honored to play a small part with the amazing organization.

Each year I brand their annual fundraising event, Chairish the Future, and help produce marketing materials including the annual sponsorship packet, save the date, print invitation and gala materials. The event features a silent and live auction of donated furniture turned into works of art by local and nationally known artists.

In 2017, with the help of a few talented friends, we created a short animated piece the Furniture Bank could use on their website, social media and as a quick way to introduce themselves to potential volunteers and donors. The spot ended up winning a Telly award.

if you build it they will buy it

Each year at the gala a design contest is held among local design firms. The contest submissions are auctioned off at the live auction and all proceeds benefit the Furniture Bank. in 2017 I worked with Adrenaline to create a, if I may say so myself, stunning oak, steel and glass coffee table for that year's design contest. We created and built the table ourselves and our submission went for top dollar over every design contest entry in the auction.
